This guided experience begins in the historic village of Kritsa, one of the most traditional villages near Agios Nikolaos. Walk through narrow streets, explore local shops, and visit the Rodanthi Museum while enjoying breathtaking views of Mirabello Bay.

Next, relax at a local café and taste a traditional Cretan brunch. Try the famous nerates cheese pie with honey, served with coffee, juice, wine, beer, or local raki. During the break, you’ll learn about Cretan culture, mythology, and daily life through a short cultural presentation.

The tour continues to the peaceful mountain village of Kroustas, known for its almonds and honey. Enjoy a short walk through the village and stop for a second café break or an optional traditional meal. During our tour we will stop for a honey tasting and we will visit a traditional technician!

We then pass through the charming village of Prina before heading to the coast for views of the famous Voulisma Beach and two other beautiful beaches along the Mirabello coastline.

Throughout the tour you’ll hear stories about the island’s history, philosophy, and traditions while experiencing authentic village life in Crete.
