Parea - Live Cretan Music with food at 1000 meters-prv group

This tour is for guests that they would like to listen live Cretan music, eat Cretan food & feel how "METOCHI" life & "PAREA" are.
We will visit a Metochi, a traditional shepherd house up in mountain, to show how the people arrange their space, why they were living there & general information about Crete & its history. After will go to Katharo plateau for a coffee or a soft drink and then we will go back to home prepare a salad and some cretan appetizers, meze.
After they will cater us cretan food that i will have arrange from a local taverna.
Then i will introduce you the two musicians(lyra & lute) that they play for us cretan music during and after our meal.
During the music i will explain the type of songs that we have in Crete, the meaning of the lyrics of some songs and what mandinada is! I will immerse you in the culture of cretan music. If you like dances i can show the basic steps of some dances and after we can dance together!
